Q. How to configure a launcher for another application?

The launcher for a new application needs to be edited correctly. Daisy finds and controls tasks using their "Window Class" (alias).

On Kwin right-click on the window decoration of the program you want to know the alias of:
Configure Window Behavior > Window-Specific> New > Detect Window Properties.
That will show you the information about the application. It's the "Class" information you want to use as the alias, the value that is inside the brackets.
For instance the alias for Firefox would be "Navigator" (without the quotes).
